Express Entry changes on 3 November 2026
IRCC is adding a Labour Market Integration factor to the CRS. A qualifying job offer in a high-wage occupation will score 50 to 100 points (no LMIA needed) and 12 months of Canadian experience in a high-wage occupation +20 to +70; IRCC counts the higher of the two. Every profile in the pool is recalculated from that date, which can take up to two weeks, and invitation rounds pause until it is done. If you have a job offer that is not in your profile, add it before 3 November.
