Before you pay anyone for Canadian immigration advice, check that they are licensed. We ask the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants' public register and show you exactly what it says.
Why this matters
In Canada, only lawyers, paralegals, Québec notaries and licensed consultants may charge for immigration advice or represent you. Paying someone else can cost you your money and, if they lie on your forms, your application.
